Friday
Not happy with yesterdays run I decided to repeat.It was a lot cooler today and managed to run 4 mins quicker in 1:08 for the 14.81km despite having a headwind in the latter part - so a lot happier.

Thursday
Managed to get out early before approaching thunderstorm for the 14.81km loop - was very slow going from the off with extreme humidity and heat - shirt was soon heavy with sweat - toes also were very sore making for a slow uncomfortable run in 1:12

Monday - Did road first then returned by trail - slower return and forgot total time - but around 1 hour.Qiite hot.

Sunday
New 15.08km loop - as I felt I should at least try a slightly longer run.Weather better and right knee injury a lot better - turned out pretty slow I guess as it took an hour and ten min's.Hand injury still very sore with a lot of tendon and knuckle damage almost 5 weeks since falling.

Saturday
Repeated same 13.29km run as yesterday - this time still very windy but not raining and actually quite warm running.
Took about an hour again and was hampered by heartburn - probably caused by a glass of Orange concentrate juice.

Thursday - did 7.5 mile run as Tuesday in around an hour.
Friday - bad weather - ran in torrential rain - did another loop from new address - 13.29KM
not very fast - tailwind on way out - headwind on way back causing slow run of an hour.

Tuesday
Did my old 18.97km loop Fly Route - I used to do this in close to 1:10 and almost reach the 16km point at the hour mark even though undulating - today it took close to 1:30 with excruciating toe pain over the last 5km - I noticed an awful lot more traffic and difficulty in not getting stopped at crossings etc.Right knee again sore also.

Forgot to mention that right inside knee had been very sore again for the last couple of days - requiring Ibruprofin yesterday.Today did a 7.55 mile road loop

Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun
Another rest day as travelling back to Greater Manchester on Thursday after packing.
Friday - went a slow 35 min jog around wet muddy fields.
Saturday - jogged to a friends house - chatted for an hour then jogged back - about 17 mins each way...
Sunday - Another jog around fields - had to climb over fences to avoid flooded paths and snagged hand on barbed wire - very slow going for about an hour - finished with the usual sore toes...

Finally got out for a run around the Shropshire countryside - turned out to be very hilly and although OK at first - toes began to hurt soon and it was pain all the way from then on....was glad to finish and massage the sore toes....did I suppose about 10km - but didn't time it - but know it was really slow...

Sunday
Last run in Blackpool as leaving today - decided on longer slow run to/around Fairhaven lake - 17.5km.
Faster then of late - after yesterdays rest day in 1:19 - still a lot slower then last year when I was averaging below 1:15 and not without problems - breathing,toes as usual but also the right knee cartilage injury re-emerged as I stepped suddenly the bone on bone feeling just momentarily but enough to cause tension over last km of run along with sore toes.

Friday was a little bit of a let down as I felt very tired and lacking in energy.I had to ease off completely and just concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other - finished the 12.5km loop in 1 hour.Saturday - decided at around 3pm to call it a rest day as still feeling very tired.

Wednesday - did long slow run 17.5km in 1:24/5 toes of course as usual a big problem
Thursday - did 12.7 km loop - a bit disappointed with 57mins as I tried the whole way but felt out of sorts with the left calf still a problem making running unrelaxed.

2 X 12.7km and managed 55 mins again both days.
Monday was quite bright and breezy and a little bit of hayfever felt - had to work hard the whole way and was surprised I managed 55 mins.Tuesday was again cooler and ran into wind on outward which was preferable - felt better breathing wise and knew It was quite fast - but had a tightness/pain in Left calf/achilles - so tried to stretch a little after run.

Bad day for pageants on the Thames - great day for running...Managed to equal p.b. for the 12.7km loop at 55 mins - felt OK apart from injured right hand very sore with cool weather.

Did longer - slower 17.5km run - quite nice running weather and apart from running on empty a little having only a banana since breakfast and leaving just before 4pm - it went OK - time 1:22

Decided to do same loop again 12.7km - after going at it reasonably hard I was suffering as usual around midway but never felt that I'd got breathing under control and finished a bit ragged - therefore I was pleasantly suprised that I'd only taken 55 1/2 mins as it definitely didn't feel as fast as the previous 3 days.

Cooler today after morning rain and same 12.7km loop.Again although didn't go off that fast still stuggled around mid section before breathing finally came under control - and again finished better in around 56 mins.
