Monday - lap of Iron Cove bay from Glebe - went clockwise with slower runners - and was very slow after travelling/poxy diet/no sleep etc....got stuck in 10am Sunday traffic around the bay.....
Tuesday - up and out by 6am - same course - but this time felt much better and ran anti clockwise - even managing to pass a couple of lame joggers

Wednesday - 10km
Hard work today in quite hot,(for U.K.),conditions - throat was burning at start and stomach ache seems to indicate some hay fever about - making for a slower than normal jog.

Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur
Same old routine each day - temperature has dropped to a most agreeable running temp - around 12C - although only short runs are possible - quite sustained effort is resulting in fitness improving gradually - and haven't missed a day for a couple of weeks.

Fri/Sat/Sun
Usual 10km Fri,added an extra 10 min loop on Sat & Sun - very warm by UK standards - about 21C - but does feel quite pleasant to run in.Had to take some Advil due to inflamed front of Right foot - and should have done local 5m run this morning - but watched Malaysian Grand Prix instead.....

Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun
Usual 10km plods on Thur/Fri/Sat.....Tried to do slightly longer run today - it was a bit of a disaster - due to usual toes and Plantar - but also sharp pains around left knee.Shoes are still very uncomfortable - but can't bear trying new ones...

Tues/Wed
Same 10km plods again but yesterday felt really tired and slow - then bumped into a fellow runner from the past - hence a 20 min conversation mid run. Went a lot better today - and it was a little cooler - past another person I hadn't seen for years but had to pretend I didn't recognise him or it would have been another slacko day....

Sun/Mon
Tried a slightly longer run of 1hr 25 mins on Sunday - which was hard work and struggled on hills - on a course I used to be 15 mins quicker on.Monday was back to usual run around the fields - finishing with a race against a dog - whose owner had cycled past me on the hill - it slowed just before I got home allowing me to pass it and finish well...

10KM Plod
Another day off yesterday - due to events - relieved to at least have ran today - but things generally hard work at the moment.

10KM Plod
Same as usual - very warm today - 16C even more springlike.Blister problem still exists on Right rear of big toe due to a ridge of hard skin - requiring taping with packing tape right around foot - which I've also found - seems to be a cure for Plantar Fascia.....as this is now most improved since 7 months.

10KM Plod
Even more ploddy then usual today - had to have coffee and heaps of chocolate just to raise the energy to run....Blister prevention of padding held in place with packing case tape wound 3 times round foot seemed to go OK - and didn't get attacked by dogs - for a change.
Ran for third time since Boxing day without thermal as bright - sunny - 12C - near perfick running weather.

Same old route - 10km through'tmuddy fields - attacked by't same dogs - did get a blister to rear of big toe near instep - probably brought on by foot rot....

Usual plod around't fields
Plodding through sodden tracks and trails - and park at Leigh - saw a couple of runners I used to know - who were good in their day - but now like me - a bit over the hill.
